Room 18 at Wilmington Manor Elementary School

     Isn’t it amazing how fast the weeks of summer fly by? The summer weeks are gone and now it is time to get back to the learning that needs to happen at school. Over the next few weeks Room 18’s students will get back into the routines established during this time of year. Look for graded papers and letters to be coming home during the week. The six marking periods continue this year. Marking Period 1 ends on Friday, October 2nd. Open House is on Tuesday, September 15th. Hopefully many of you will be able to come and learn about things that will be used in Room 18 and the neat things we will be doing this year. My Open House packet will be sent home early (during the week of August 24th) so that you will understand some of the routines and expectations in my classroom. I will discuss some of this at Open House but felt you needed to see some of the items before September 15th. My goal is for all of us (students, parents, and myself) to have a wonderfully productive learning experience in Third Grade this year.
